What colored artwork holds
A colored portrait from a photo is handmade artwork that keeps more of the world’s temperature: a sweater, a garden, the particular brown of someone’s hair in late afternoon. It is still a drawing or painting made by Ammama, not a printed photograph and not a generated image. Color asks more of the reference, because the artist is following hue as well as form.

Choose colored artwork
Select the colored portrait style, then the people or pet who should appear on the page.

Send a photograph that already holds color
The artist follows the colors in your reference. A washed-out or heavily filtered image leaves less to interpret honestly.

Settle the details
Size, subjects, optional framing, and delivery are confirmed when you order. Notes can mention clothing or background preferences.

Made by hand, then finished
Ammama creates the artwork. When a preview is offered, you review it before framing and delivery.
Photographs that carry color well
Color work is kinder to a photograph that already tells the truth about light and clothing.
- Avoid strong filters that shift skin toward orange or grey. The artist would rather follow real color than undo a preset.
- Clothing and surroundings should be visible if you want them in the finished piece.
- Outdoor light is welcome. Harsh noon sun can flatten faces; open shade or late light is often gentler.
- If two photographs together tell the story better — a face and a favorite shirt — you can mention that when you order.
