Privacy Policy

Ammama Sketch is a handmade portrait studio. Ammama draws pencil sketches and colored portraits from photographs you provide. This website is Ammama Sketch at ammamasketch.com.

For privacy questions, use the contact details at the end of this page. We do not sell portraits through a separate app or marketplace account — an order is placed as a guest on this site.

It applies when you:

• Browse the public site, gallery, or service pages
• Write through the contact form or published studio channels
• Upload a photograph and place a commission
• Follow an order with a tracking link or order number
• Submit payment proof for a pending order

Photographs have extra rules. Those sit in full on the Photo Privacy Policy, which this page includes by reference. Placing an order also means you accept the Terms.

Depending on how you use the site, that may include:

• Name, email, phone, and WhatsApp number
• Delivery address, city, postal code, and country
• Photographs uploaded as a reference for artwork
• Notes about the portrait, gift, or composition
• Payment method choice and any payment proof you upload
• Coupon codes, revision comments, and approval decisions
• Messages sent through the contact form

You do not need a customer account. Checkout is as a guest. Do not send information you do not want the studio to hold for the commission. Photographs of other people — including children — should only be uploaded when you have the right to share them for this purpose.

To run the site safely we may receive technical details such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Forms that change studio data can be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell a person from automated abuse. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that check.

A cart, configurator draft, and checkout details may be stored in your browser (local storage) so you can leave and return. Image files themselves are not kept in that cart data. Clearing site data on your device removes that draft.

We use information to:

• Create the commissioned artwork and fulfill the order
• Confirm payment, packing, and delivery
• Show you a private preview when that is part of the order
• Answer a message and keep a record of the commission
• Protect the site from spam and abuse
• Understand visits in aggregate, only when analytics tools are turned on

We do not sell your information. We do not use a customer photograph to generate artwork with software, and we do not feed your photograph into a generative image model.

A portrait begins with a photograph. Uploaded pictures are stored in a private order area. They are not given a permanent public web address. The artist and studio staff see them in order to draw and fulfill your commission — including any preview shared with you on a private order page.

Sharing a customer photograph, or the finished artwork, in the gallery or on social channels requires a separate, optional consent at checkout. Placing an order is not that consent. You can read the full photograph rules on the photo privacy page.

The studio draws children’s portraits from photographs a parent or guardian provides. If you upload a picture of a child, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or guardian, or that you have permission from the person who may grant it, and that the picture may be used as a private reference for this commission.

Children’s photographs follow the same private storage rules as other references. They are not published unless you later give separate portfolio consent for the finished artwork — and even then, the original photograph is not treated as a public picture.

The site does not invent a card gateway. You choose a method the studio has published — for example a bank transfer, a digital wallet, cash on delivery, or another method shown at checkout. Account or wallet details are shared as payment instructions, not collected as card numbers on this form.

If you upload a payment screenshot or receipt, it is stored privately with the order so the studio can confirm that payment. It is not published.

Studio staff who need it to draw, pack, or answer you. Hosting, database, and storage providers that keep the site running (including the private photograph store). If email is configured, a mail provider sends order and contact messages — those emails never include the photograph file or a private image address. If you write on WhatsApp, Instagram, or another published channel, that service’s own terms apply to the conversation there.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the studio or another person from serious harm.

Reference photographs are stored privately while your commission is in progress and for 12 months after delivery or cancellation, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Payment proofs stay with the order record. Name, contact details, delivery address, and what was commissioned are kept as business records. Photographs are never given a permanent public web address.

Contact messages are kept long enough to answer them and to understand a later question about the same commission. You may ask us to review a photograph or message for removal. Order records that show what was sold, paid, and delivered may still be kept as business records after a photograph is deleted.

The shop itself does not require an advertising cookie to place an order. What may be present:

• Strictly necessary checks, such as reCAPTCHA on forms, and studio admin session cookies for people who sign in to the back office — not for guest customers
• Local storage on your device for cart, portrait options, and a checkout draft
• Optional Google Analytics, only if the studio has configured it. When it is on, IP addresses are anonymized and events do not include names, emails, phone numbers, or private image addresses
• An optional Meta Pixel, only if configured, for page views and ordinary commerce events such as beginning checkout. Those events also omit names, emails, phones, and private image addresses

Analytics are not required to commission a portrait. You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser. The order form will still work.

You can:

• Ask what information we hold about an order or a message
• Ask for a reference photograph to be removed
• Correct a delivery detail while the order can still be changed
• Withdraw portfolio or social consent for future public use
• Ask us to stop using a contact detail for studio messages

We will need enough to find the order — typically an order number and the email or phone used at checkout — without you forwarding the photograph again unless we ask. Some records cannot be erased while they are still needed to complete an order, prevent fraud, or keep accounts.

Photographs and payment proofs live in a private storage area and are shown through short-lived signed links, not a public album. Object names are not your name, email, or phone. Access is limited to fulfilling the order. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we take the care this kind of commission requires.

The studio serves customers from Pakistan and may ship further when a delivery option is offered at checkout. Hosting, storage, email, and security providers may process information in other countries in order to run the site. By using the site you understand that this transfer is part of how the commission is made.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that commission.
