By placing an order, ticking the checkout agreement, or otherwise asking the studio to begin a commission, you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Photo Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not upload photographs or place an order.

The studio is Ammama Sketch, operating this website at ammamasketch.com. Ammama creates the artwork by hand.

Ammama Sketch creates handmade portraits from photographs you provide — pencil sketches, colored portraits, and related commissions such as individuals, couples, families, children, pets, gifts, and custom compositions when those options are offered. Each piece is drawn by the artist. Small variation is part of handmade work.

A finished portrait will not be a print of your photograph and will not be generated by software. It is an artistic interpretation of the reference you send. Likeness depends on the clarity of that photograph. The studio will not age a person forward, invent a pose that is not in the reference, or promise that the drawing will match a filtered or generated picture.

You must be 18 or older to place an order. If the portrait is of a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or guardian, or that you have permission from the person who may grant it, and that the photograph may be used as a private reference for this commission.

Checkout is as a guest. No customer account is required. Keep your order number and private tracking link to yourself — anyone with that link can see the order.

By uploading a photograph, you confirm that you may use it for this commission — that it is yours, or that you have permission from the person who may grant it. Do not send images you are not allowed to share, images that exploit a child, or images that you do not have the right to have drawn.

You grant the studio a limited licence to use the photograph only to create, review, pack, and support the commission. You keep whatever rights you already have in the photograph. Public use of the photograph, or of the finished artwork, in the gallery or on social channels requires separate consent. See photo privacy.

Options you choose — style, size, subjects, framing, and delivery — determine the price shown at checkout. That calculated total, which the studio recalculates on the server when the order is placed, is the amount for the commission. A number remembered from a conversation or a cart preview is not the contract price until the order is recorded.

Coupons apply only as the studio has configured them. Currency is shown at checkout (currently PKR).

Available methods may include a bank transfer, a digital wallet, cash on delivery, or another method the studio has enabled. Some methods ask for a deposit. An order may remain pending until payment is confirmed. If you upload a payment proof, it is stored privately with the order.

Until payment is confirmed according to the method you chose, the studio is not obliged to begin the drawing.

Turnaround is confirmed after your order and photographs are reviewed.

If the studio shares a preview for your order, you may approve it or request one round of reasonable adjustment from your secure order page — for example a likeness note that can still be drawn from the photographs you sent. Approval confirms the drawing for framing and delivery. Changes after approval, after shipping, or that would need a different photograph or a new composition are a new commission. Handmade work is an artistic interpretation of your reference, not a print of the photograph.

Drawing time, a possible preview, and framing if selected all happen before a piece is ready to travel. Delivery time is in addition to that studio work.

This is custom artwork made to your photographs. It cannot be resold as a standard product.

• If you cancel before the studio confirms the order and before drawing has started, amounts you have already paid for that commission are refunded, excluding any non-refundable transfer fees charged by your bank or wallet.
• Once drawing has started, the commission is generally non-refundable, because the time and the page cannot be used for someone else.
• If the studio cannot complete the work, you will be refunded the amount paid for work that was not delivered.
• A change of mind after you approve a preview, or after the piece has shipped, is not a defect. A new idea is a new commission.

If a parcel arrives damaged, write to the studio promptly with photographs of the packaging and the artwork so we can see what happened. More on how a piece travels is on shipping and delivery.

Delivery options are confirmed at checkout. The portrait is sent to the address you enter. If the gift is a surprise, you may use your own address and give it in person.

Risk in the physical artwork passes when it is handed to the carrier you chose, except where a delivery method the studio offers says otherwise. Please check the name, phone, and address before you place the order. The studio is not responsible for a failed delivery caused by an incomplete or incorrect address you supplied.

You receive the physical handmade artwork you paid for — framed if that option was part of the order. You may display that piece in your home or give it as a gift.

Ammama retains copyright in the original artwork. You may not reproduce it commercially, sell prints of it, or present it as machine-generated work, without written permission from the studio. Personal photographs of the piece in your home are fine.

The studio will not publish your commission in the gallery or on social media unless you gave optional portfolio consent at checkout. You may withdraw that consent for future posts by writing to us. Work already printed or already posted may not always be recalled.

You may not use the site to:

• Upload photographs you have no right to share
• Harass, impersonate, or mislead the studio or another person
• Interfere with the site, other customers’ orders, or studio systems
• Attempt to obtain another person’s tracking link or order details

The studio may refuse or cancel a commission that cannot be drawn honestly from the photographs sent, or that would require the artist to copy someone else’s artwork.

The studio takes care with handmade work. It does not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, or that a drawing will match a memory that is not in the photograph. To the extent the law allows, the studio’s responsibility for a commission is limited to the amount you paid for that order. The studio is not liable for indirect loss — for example a missed gift date caused by a late photograph, an incorrect address, or a carrier delay outside its control.

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that commission. The effective date is shown at the top of the page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If a dispute cannot be resolved by writing to the studio, the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
