Photo Privacy Policy

Ammama draws from a real reference. The photograph you upload is collected so the artist can see the person, pair, family, child, or animal you want on the page. Without that image, the commission cannot be made honestly. Notes you add — clothing, who sits where, a gift surprise — help read the picture. They do not replace it.

Uploaded photographs are used to create the commissioned artwork and to fulfill that order — including any preview the studio shares with you on a private order page. They are not treated as public pictures by default.

The artist works from the complete reference. Customer photographs are not cropped automatically. They are not used to generate a portrait with software, and they are not fed into a generative image model.

Sharing a customer photograph, or the finished artwork, in the gallery or on social channels requires separate, optional consent at checkout. That box is never pre-ticked. Placing an order is not that consent.

Photographs live in a private order store, separate from the public gallery. They are not given a permanent public web address. When the artist or you need to see one, it is shown through a short-lived signed link. File names are randomized. Your name, email, and phone are not used in the storage path.

JPEG, PNG, and WebP files are accepted. Phone photos in other formats may be converted before use so the artist can open them. Unnecessary extra data attached to a file is stripped where that is practical. Payment proofs, if you upload them, follow the same private store — they are for confirming payment, not for display.

Reference photographs are stored privately while your commission is in progress and for 12 months after delivery or cancellation, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Payment proofs stay with the order record. Name, contact details, delivery address, and what was commissioned are kept as business records. Photographs are never given a permanent public web address.

If you gave portfolio consent, a picture of the finished artwork may be kept in the public gallery until you ask for that posting to stop. The original customer photograph still follows the private rule above unless you separately agreed that it may appear.

Only a parent, guardian, or someone with their permission should upload a child’s photograph. The picture is a private reference for the drawing of that child at the age in the frame. The studio will not age the child forward or invent a pose that is not in the photograph.

Children’s original photographs are not published. A finished children’s portrait appears in the gallery or on social media only if you gave the optional portfolio consent for that artwork.

Only upload photographs you have the right to use for a commission. Family groups, partners, and pets still need that permission from the person who can give it. Do not send photographs taken without consent, or images you found and do not have the right to have drawn.

Write through the contact form if you have a request to remove a reference photograph, or another photo-privacy question. You may also email ammamaamjad205@gmail.com. WhatsApp is available from the contact page when you prefer a message there. Include your order number if you have one. You do not need to send the photograph again unless we ask.

The Terms describe the commission itself. The Privacy Policy describes other information the studio holds — name, address, messages, and optional analytics. This page is only about the pictures.
